Vision
To create opportunities for people in regional communities to connect with the world through performing arts, and to ensure that where you live does not limit what you can dream of.
Through ballet and performing arts, I aim to expand perspectives, inspire creativity, and build meaningful connections between local communities and the international arts scene.
Background
Growing up in the rural town of Oshamambe in Hokkaido, I encountered jazz dance at the age of three and classical ballet at five.
While dance became a source of joy and self-expression, access to professional performances was extremely limited, and I often felt that living in the countryside made it harder to pursue my dreams.
Through my education and experiences in urban environments, both in Japan and abroad, I became increasingly aware of the gap in cultural opportunities between rural and metropolitan areas.
This realisation shaped my desire to return what I had received through the arts, and to help create an environment where young people in regional communities can stay connected to the wider world.
Looking Ahead
By inviting international artists to regional Japan and creating opportunities for exchange, I hope to offer local communities first-hand experiences of authentic performing arts.
At the same time, I aim to introduce the unique charm and cultural richness of Hokkaido to visiting artists, fostering a two-way relationship built on mutual respect and inspiration.
Through continuing projects between Japan and the UK, I seek to build a sustainable artistic bridge that connects people, cultures and creative perspectives across borders.

生まれ育った場所によって、夢や可能性が制限されることのない社会をつくること。
パフォーミングアーツを通して、地域と世界をつなぎ、視野の広がる機会を届けたいと考えています。
バレエをはじめとする舞台芸術を軸に、地域に新たな刺激とインスピレーションをもたらし、国際的な芸術交流を育んでいくことが私のビジョンです。
きっかけ
北海道長万部町で育ち、3歳でジャズダンス、5歳でクラシックバレエと出会いました。
踊ることは喜びや自己表現の手段であった一方、地方では本格的な舞台芸術に触れる機会が限られており、「地方にいる限り、夢を追い続けることは難しい」と感じることも少なくありませんでした。
進学や海外での経験を通して、地方と都市、そして日本と海外との間にある文化的な機会の差を実感し、自分自身がその架け橋となり、育った環境に舞台芸術を通して還元したいという思いが芽生えるようになりました。
これから
目指すこと
今後は海外のアーティストを地方に招き、本場の舞台芸術に直接触れられる機会を継続的に届けていきたいと考えています。
舞台鑑賞や国際交流を通して、「地方にいても世界とつながれる」と実感できる場を創出していきます。
同時に、北海道をはじめとする日本の地方が持つ魅力を海外のアーティストにも伝え、相互に刺激を受け合う双方向の国際交流を育んでいきたい。
パフォーミングアーツを通して、多くの人にインスピレーションを届ける存在であり続けたいと願っています。
